"Restoring
the Cathedral" Slideshow

In 2003, the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament was closed for restoration. It
reopened more than two years later in 2005. This slideshow includes photos, sketches
and brief descriptions of the restoration work. From the removal of the false
dome
to earthquake retrofitting to cleaning and restoring the stained glass windows,
the slideshow explains and illustrates the transformation of the Cathedral of
the Blessed Sacrament.
