Summer Classes at Pastoral Center

With the ending of the school year and graduations, think of your own spiritual growth as the heat of summer arrives. The Diocesan Pastoral Center offers many classes during the hot summer evenings to enrich your knowledge and understanding of your faith. 

The Intensive Basic Certification Course is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for 5 weeks beginning June 16 through July 16. $125 for the series. Call (916) 733-0123 to register.

Several Renewal of Certification Workshops earn 8 hours of credit for Renewal Certification. Each is $25. Among them are:

July 21 & 22 — Catechesis & the Lectionary
July 28 & 30 — A Catholic Introduction to the Depths of Sacred Scripture
Aug 4 & 6 — Catholic Tradition & Church History

The Summer Scripture Institute for the Year of St. Paul is held on Tuesday evenings from July 8 through August 12. Attendance at all sessions will earn 12 hours of credit for Renewal Certification.
